Since 2007, The Writing Room has been a vital support system for writers. Our group or individual mentorships cover novels, memoir, and non-fiction writing and guide you through every stage of your manuscript. Sarah Bullen is an international writing mentor and literary agent who helps writers worldwide bring their stories to life. She founded The Writing Room and Kent Literary and has mentored authors who have published over 180 books. Sarah frequently appears on talk shows, podcasts, and at literary festivals, and has led international writing retreats since 2013.
Her journey started in hard news journalism, which laid the foundation for her deep understanding of impactful storytelling. Life's challenges, including her husband's battle with brain cancer and her own near-death experience, have profoundly shaped her approach to mentoring.
